Celebrities, Corporates step in to Support for Telangana’s Flood Relief Efforts

Hyderabad: Several prominent personalities have stepped forward to support the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in aid of flood victims.
Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi made a significant contribution by donating ₹50 lakh on his behalf, along with an additional ₹50 lakh on behalf of his son, Ram Charan. Chiranjeevi personally handed over both cheques to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills here on Monday.
Other notable figures from the film industry also made generous contributions. Actor Vishwak Sen donated ₹10 lakh, Sai Dharam Tej contributed ₹10 lakh, and Ali offered ₹3 lakh. They presented their cheques after meeting with the Chief Minister at his residence.
Additionally, the Amar Raja Group donated ₹1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, which was presented by former minister Galla Aruna Kumari. Garudapalli Infrastructure Private Limited also contributed ₹25 lakh.
The recent floods in various districts of Telangana caused widespread hardship, prompting many to come forward with donations. Former Nellore MP and senior YSRCP leader Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy announced a contribution of ₹25 lakh to the relief fund. He met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and presented the cheque.
The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude for the assistance and honoured Rajamohan Reddy with a ceremonial shawl.
Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy was accompanied by his son, Mekapati Prithvi Reddy, during the meeting.
The Telangana government has called on public representatives, citizens, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to provide full cooperation in aiding those affected by the heavy rains and floods.
The Chief Minister stated that with collective efforts, the flood victims are being supported effectively. He extended his thanks to everyone who has contributed to the relief efforts.
